Is "jumping ship" the beginning of a trend due to the outlandish status of the domestic auto industry? Or is it just a one shot deal, so to speak.
David Prystash, the Ford Motor Co. exec that oversees the company’s global cost-cutting efforts, has left the automaker to become chief financial officer of NewPage Corp, a paper company, based in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Our take? With sales of domestic autos in the tank and studies that show things won’t get better any time soon, perhaps we will see more auto industry execs jumping out of the auto industry altogether.
