Audi "Travolution" allows Drivers to make all Stoplights

If there is anything that is truly going to bailout the worldwide auto industry, it will be technology.

Now comes word that Volkswagen's luxury brand Audi is working on a system that allows the car to communicate with traffic signals. Called "Travolution", the system tells drivers how fast to drive so that they can make the lights rather than stopping for red lights. Imagine to be able to drive from one end of a city to the other making every green light?

Specially equipped Audi A5s and A6s are testing a system in the town in which Audi is based, Ingolstadt, Germany.

No news yet when the system will go into production, if ever. Our take? We're glad that safety is again becoming a priority instead of horsepower.
